What does this product do?

It targets acne from multiple angles controlling excess oil, calming active breakouts, clearing clogged pores, and fading post-acne marks. It also helps support a balanced skin microbiome. Not just a spot treatment, a full acne correction routine in one product.

What type of acne does it help with?

It helps with both non-inflammatory acne like whiteheads and blackheads, and inflammatory acne like red, swollen breakouts.

How does it help reduce acne?

Most acne gels dry out the pimple and stop there. This works differently; it targets the triggers that cause acne in the first place such as excess sebum production, clogged pores, skin inflammation, bacterial imbalance and post acne marks. Address the root and fewer breakouts follow. It works on multiple acne triggers, including excess sebum, clogged pores, acne-related inflammation, bacterial imbalance, and weakened skin barrier.

Does it help control oily skin?

Yes. ALPAFLOR® Alp Sebum and Green Tea EGCG help manage excess sebum production, which can reduce the chances of clogged pores and breakouts.

Does it help fade acne marks?

Yes. When a breakout heals, the inflammation it causes can trigger excess melanin production, leaving behind a dark spot or uneven patch. This is called post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). Licorice Extract standardised to Glabridin helps interrupt this process by inhibiting tyrosinase, the key enzyme that drives melanin production. With consistent use, post-acne marks appear lighter and skin tone looks more even over time.

How soon can I expect to see results?

In a clinical study conducted on OZiva Spot Corrector for Acne, 100% of subjects showed improvement in acne reduction in just 7 days. *By Day 7, up to 52% reduction in papule redness, up to 48% reduction in papule size, up to 41% reduction in whiteheads, and up to 34% reduction in blackheads. With continued use, oil control improves further and post-acne marks fade over time. *Based on a clinical study of Oziva Acne Corrector on 36 subjects over 7 days with twice daily use. Results may vary.

What makes this different from a regular acne gel?

Most acne gels work by drying out pimples which can strip the skin barrier and trigger more oil production. This formula is different. Five plant-based actives, each standardised to their key compound, each working on a specific acne trigger:

Is it harsh or drying on the skin?

No. The formula includes Centella asiatica and Licorice Extract, both known for calming and barrier-supporting properties. It is designed to correct acne without compromising skin comfort, hydration, or resilience.

Can I use it on active acne and old acne marks together?

Yes, it is designed for both. While it works on active breakouts, it also addresses what breakouts leave behind: dark spots, uneven texture, clogged pores, and uneven skin tone. You do not need separate products for each concern.

Is it suitable for sensitive acne-prone skin?

Yes, the formula is designed to correct acne without compromising skin comfort. It contains Centella asiatica and Licorice Extract, both known for calming and barrier-supporting properties, which help keep skin comfortable and resilient during use. It is also: Non-comedogenic: won't clog pores Paraben-free: no harsh preservatives Dermatologist-tested: assessed for skin safety Clinically studied: tested on 36 subjects with zero irritation, burning, or dryness observed That said, if your skin is particularly sensitive, patch test before full use and introduce it gradually into your routine.
